Its time for the mega event Hiriyara Jaatre - Elders Fest

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to assist the elders, interact with them and make their day memorable. 

We are looking for volunteers who can assist with registration, guiding the elders, setting up and cleaning up, food distribution, backstage, and other tasks as needed.

• Venue Management

Ensure that the event is accessible for all the elders, this includes providing ramps or elevators for those who may have mobility issues and providing sign language interpreters for those who are hard of hearing.

• Food Management

Make sure to provide food and refreshments that are suitable for the elders. This can include providing meals that are easy to digest, and avoiding spicy or overly salty foods.

• Safety Management

Consider the health of the elders and provide necessary medical support and facilities.

• Travel/Transsport Management

Arrange transportation for the elders to and from the event. This can include buses, vans, or cars.

• Entertainment

Plan a program that is engaging and appropriate for the elders. This can include music, dance, and other activities that are suitable for their age group.

• Communication/Coordination 

Communicate effectively with the old age home and the elders to ensure that everyone is aware of the event's details and schedule.
