Our Story

V The Volunteers (VTVO) began in 2012, when a small group of friends chose to break the myth that “everything is done for money” and prove instead that kindness, compassion, and community spirit are far more powerful. What started as a simple idea soon grew into something much bigger, a movement where service became a way of life.

From our very first cause in Bengaluru, we realised one truth:

People want to give, they just need the right platform.

Over the years, that platform grew.

One weekend cause became many.

A small team became hundreds.

Hundreds became thousands.

Today, VTVO stands as a nationwide volunteer-led movement, bringing together students, professionals, homemakers, and individuals from every walk of life, all united by empathy and a desire to serve. Each volunteer brings something unique, and together they create meaningful change.

Yet through every cause, every city, and every year, one thing has remained unchanged: Ordinary people doing extraordinary things together.

  • We do not give awards, certificates, or incentives.

  • We believe the act of giving itself is the reward.

  • We believe in the power of “See a need. Take the lead.”

  • And we believe that when people come together with no expectations, change becomes unstoppable.

Across the years, VTVO volunteers have dedicated themselves to multiple causes.
