What?

Elders Adda is an initiative aimed at supporting senior citizens with various activities as per the need.

When?

Volunteers participate in the Elders Adda at least once a month.

Where?

Online and offline based on requirement.

Why?

A study notes that over 65% of elders in India face neglect. When the elders are neglected, they are either left to fend for themselves or left at an old age home with little or no emotional support. Many elders in old age homes are left with no visits or calls. Elders Adda was conceptualized to help such elders and bring a smile on their face.

How ?

Once an invite is sent out through social media platforms volunteers confirm their presence by registering. On the previous day of the event, the location of the event is shared and the commute is discussed. On the event day, the volunteers gather at the old age home or daycare center. If the activities planned is virtual volunteers connect online with the senior citizens
