What is Elders Adda

Elders Adda is a dedicated initiative by V The Volunteers (VTVO) that focuses on enhancing the lives of senior citizens living in old age homes.

Many elders in these homes experience emotional isolation and long for social interaction, care, and engagement.

Through structured programs like interactive sessions, skill-building workshops, festive celebrations, and volunteer-led activities, Elders Adda fosters a sense of belonging and happiness.

By connecting volunteers with elders consistently, we aim to promote empathy across generations and ensure that every senior citizen lives with dignity, joy, and a sense of community.

What We Do
IMG_0976.JPG
What We Do
  • Volunteers visit old age homes to spend time with residents—engaging them through conversations, games, songs, and shared laughter.

  • An annual celebration bringing together hundreds of elders from different homes for a day filled with performances, fun, and joy.

  • Celebrating birthdays, festivals, and special days with elders to make them feel cherished and included in the community.

  • Spreading awareness on elder care and respect, and encouraging communities to stay connected with the senior citizens around them.

Many elders in old age homes experience emotional isolation and long for companionship.

Regular interaction and care help uplift their mental and emotional well-being.

Creating spaces of dignity and love ensures elders feel respected and remembered.

Why it Matters

Elders Fest

Elders Fest is the flagship celebration of Elders Adda, bringing together hundreds of senior citizens from multiple old age homes for a day of joy, connection, and fun.

The Fest features cultural performances, games, competitions, music, and interactive activities, all organized by dedicated volunteers to make elders feel celebrated and included. It’s more than an event, it’s a platform where elders can socialize, share their stories, showcase their talents, and enjoy moments of laughter and togetherness.
