VTVO – Volunteer Terms & Conditions

 

Thank you for choosing to volunteer with V The Volunteers (VTVO).

By registering as a volunteer and participating in any VTVO initiative, you agree to the following terms:

 

1. Volunteering with VTVO

  • My enrolment as a VTVO volunteer is personal and non-transferable.

  • I confirm that I have the capacity and authority to understand and accept these terms.

  • I voluntarily choose to participate in the VTVO causes and initiatives that align with my interests and values.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • VTVO may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published on the VTVO website and will take effect immediately.

  • My continued participation with VTVO signifies my acceptance of the latest version of these Terms & Conditions.

  • If I do not agree with these terms, I may choose not to participate in VTVO activities.

 

3. Volunteer Commitment

  • I understand that volunteering with VTVO is entirely voluntary and unpaid.

  • I do not expect any monetary compensation for my participation.

  • I will support the goals, objectives, and values of the initiatives I choose to join.

 

4. Code of Conduct

  • I will act responsibly, ethically, and in the best interests of VTVO and its beneficiaries.

  • I will promptly disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that may affect my ability to volunteer.

  • I will treat all volunteers, beneficiaries, partners, and community members with dignity, respect, and courtesy.

 

5. Zero-Tolerance Policy

 VTVO is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment. I understand that any form of physical, emotional, mental, sexual, or verbal abuse, harassment, discrimination, bullying, or       retaliation will not be tolerated.

 VTVO reserves the right to investigate such incidents and take appropriate action. VTVO’s decision in such matters shall be final and binding.

 

6. Responsible Communication

 While interacting with VTVO, fellow volunteers,   beneficiaries, or through any VTVO platform, I   agree not to share or promote content that is:

  • False, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;

  • Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive toward any individual or group;

  • Illegal, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, or otherwise inappropriate;

  • Commercial advertising, spam, promotional content, referral schemes, or unauthorized solicitations; or

  • Likely to disrupt, damage, overburden, or adversely affect VTVO, its initiatives, or its community.

 VTVO reserves the right to take appropriate   action in the event of any violation.

 

7. Responsibility and Liability

  • I understand that VTVO primarily serves as a platform that enables volunteers to contribute to social causes and community initiatives.

  • I remain responsible for my own actions, conduct, and compliance with applicable laws and these Terms & Conditions.

  • VTVO shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from my participation in its activities.

 

8. Indemnity

 I agree to indemnify and hold harmless VTVO   from any claims, losses, liabilities, or actions   arising from my conduct, omissions, breach of   these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.

 

9. Photography, Videography & Media   Consent

 I understand that photographs, videos,   recordings, or other media may be created   during VTVO events, meetings, and activities.

 I consent to VTVO using, storing, publishing, and   sharing such material for documentation,   communication, awareness, promotional, and   related purposes connected with VTVO and its   causes.

 If I wish to withdraw this consent for a specific   event or instance, I will notify VTVO in writing.

 

10. Governing Law

 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by   the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in   connection with these Terms shall be subject to   the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in   Bengaluru, Karnataka.

By volunteering with VTVO, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and will strive to uphold the values of service, respect, integrity, and community that VTVO stands for.
