What We Do?
About the Cause
VCanTalk is a mental health and emotional well-being initiative of V The Volunteers (VTVO) that aims to break stigma, encourage open conversations, and make mental health support more accessible to everyone.
Mental health challenges affect people of all ages, yet many hesitate to seek help due to stigma, lack of awareness, limited access, or financial barriers. VCanTalk creates safe, supportive, and accessible spaces where individuals can learn, seek support without judgment, and connect with professional help when needed.
Why it Matters?
Because No One Should Suffer in Silence
Mental health is as important as physical health, yet it is often overlooked. Creating awareness helps individuals recognize challenges early and seek support without fear or stigma.
Because Support Can Make a Difference
Many people experiencing emotional distress first turn to someone they trust. Equipping communities with Mental Health First Aid skills can help ensure that support is available when it is needed most.
Because Help Should Be Accessible
Everyone deserves access to mental health support, regardless of their circumstances. Providing free counselling support helps remove barriers and connects individuals with professional guidance when they need it.

02
Mental Health First Aid
We train volunteers and community members in basic Mental Health First Aid skills so they can recognize emotional distress and provide initial support. Our goal is to build a compassionate network of individuals who can respond responsibly when someone needs help.

01
Mental Health Awareness
We organize awareness sessions, webinars, and community conversations to promote understanding of mental health and emotional well-being. Through these initiatives, we aim to reduce stigma and encourage people to seek support when needed.

03
Free Professional Counselling Support
We connect individuals with qualified mental health professionals who volunteer their time to provide free counselling support. Priority is given to students, senior citizens, and VTVO volunteers to ensure support reaches those who need it most.

Testimonials
I am truly happy that I came across VTVO on Instagram. I felt so happy every minute I was at Sarvoham. It has been my dream to be a volunteer. But hesitated all these years because I might encounter dogs with major injuries which I am not comfortable with as I am so light hearted towards four legged souls. But Vpaws made it easy for me due to which I have volunteered for the second time. And looking forward to volunteer more in 2024!

I think the experience was more therapeutic for the volunteers as compared to what we could do for the cutest beings and paws. Imagine soo many happy faces coming to you just for some love! Definitely an experience edged into my core memory and I can't wait to volunteer more.

It was so comfortable and homely getting to know and spending with all the volunteers at the shelter.

It was an amazing time, spent time with beautiful dogs and understood the difficulties the shelter owners face.

It's a wonderful experience to be a part of the team. There are more beings in our country who needs hands as well as beautiful creatures like dogs, cows, and many that needs some help to fulfill their basic needs. I am grateful to be a part of the team to contribute my support to the needy. Great job VTVO.
