What We Do?

vi5.jpg

02

Create awareness around inclusion

We actively spread awareness within our volunteer community and beyond about the importance of inclusion, the realities of living with a disability, and the need to create more accepting spaces in everyday life.

01

Engage through meaningful interactions

Our volunteers visit homes and spend time with residents through games, conversations, and group activities. These interactions are not just about engagement, but about building comfort, connection, and mutual understanding.

03

Support and highlight their work

Many homes are doing incredible work by enabling persons with disabilities to be self-reliant through activities like candle making, paper crafts, and other handmade products. We help amplify their efforts by spreading the word and encouraging support for these initiatives, including opportunities like corporate gifting.

Why it Matters?

Because inclusion starts with understanding

Spending time together helps break barriers and builds a more accepting and empathetic society.

Because everyone deserves to be seen as capable

Many persons with disabilities are leading independent and creative lives, and their work deserves recognition and support.

Because awareness leads to real change

When more people understand and engage, it creates opportunities for inclusion in everyday spaces — at work, in communities, and beyond.

Testimonials

I am truly happy that I came across VTVO on Instagram. I felt so happy every minute I was at Sarvoham. It has been my dream to be a volunteer. But hesitated all these years because I might encounter dogs with major injuries which I am not comfortable with as I am so light hearted towards four legged souls. But Vpaws made it easy for me due to which I have volunteered for the second time. And looking forward to volunteer more in 2024!

I think the experience was  more therapeutic for the volunteers as compared to what we could do for the cutest beings and paws. Imagine soo many happy faces coming to you just for some love! Definitely an experience edged into my core memory and I can't wait to volunteer more.

It was so comfortable and homely getting to know and spending with all the volunteers at the shelter.

It was an amazing time, spent time with beautiful dogs and understood the difficulties the shelter owners face.

It's a wonderful experience to be a part of the team. There are more beings in our country who needs hands as well as beautiful creatures like dogs, cows, and many that needs some help to fulfill their basic needs. I am grateful to be a part of the team to contribute my support to the needy. Great job VTVO.

About the Cause

VInclude is an initiative by VTheVolunteers that focuses on creating a more inclusive and aware society for persons with disabilities, including the deaf community.

Through this initiative, we aim to build understanding, break common misconceptions, and create spaces where everyone feels seen, respected, and included. Our volunteers visit homes where persons with disabilities live and spend meaningful time engaging with them.

At it’s core, VInclude is guided by a simple belief — inclusion begins with awareness, interaction, and acceptance.
